    Perth pianist Alasdair Beatson is teaming up with the Doric String Quartet in February for a weekend of performances in Perth Concert Hall and St John’s Kirk.

    One of Scotland’s foremost musicians, Alasdair Beatson is in demand both nationally and internationally as a soloist and chamber music partner. The three-concert exclusive from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 February sees him get together with one of Britain’s most exciting ensembles, for a thrilling musical weekend.

    Marc Almond has announced a UK tour performing songs from his solo career, as well as his time in Soft Cell, ahead of a new album Hits and Pieces, which will also be released in March 2017. His Perth Concert Hall gig on Saturday 25 March will be the only chance for Scottish fans to see one of Britain’s most gifted and unique vocal talents on this tour which will also travel to London, York, Buxton and Warrington.
