Perth Concert Hall is showcasing today’s most charismatic classical artists in two stand-out concerts this season.
BBC Young Musician 2016, Sheku Kanneh-Mason’s performance at Harry and Meghan’s wedding is only the most recent staging post in the extraordinary Kanneh-Mason family story. The talented cellist is joined by his sister Isata – who gave a wonderful recital as part of Perth Piano Sundays earlier this year. Brother Braimah joins the pair on violin alongside two colleagues from the Royal Academy of Music for an evening of chamber music from Barber, Fauré and Dvořák on Sunday 22 December.

“I'm so happy to be coming to Perth with my brother and sister and a group of my close friends. We have been performing together since we began studies at the Royal Academy of Music and we really enjoy exploring a wide range of repertoire. We are delighted to be bringing to Perth a fresh programme of Fauré’s Piano Trio and Dvořák’s Piano Quintet which will be preceded by a beautiful Cello Sonata by Samuel Barber that I play with my sister Isata.”
Firmly positioned as a leading exponent of his instrument, classical guitarist MILOŠ continues to top record charts and delight audiences worldwide. Throughout his extraordinary career he has appeared in recitals and concertos at almost all major concert halls and festivals around the globe. He was the first classical guitarist to perform a solo recital at the Royal Albert Hall, to unanimous critical acclaim. Equally at home playing Bach as he is The Beatles, he creates an unforgettable musical journey spanning three centuries. This much anticipated concert, on Thursday 23 marks MILOŠ’s welcome return to the Perth Concert Hall stage.
