    Opera North is bringing a concert performance of Strauss’ most intense and shocking opera, Salome, to Perth Concert Hall on Sunday 29 April.

    The afternoon performance continues Opera North’s successful series of dramatic operas presented in concert.

    This year's in-person ticket sales for the Rewind Festival will be available directly from the festival venue Scone Palace. 

    Line up announced Thursday 25 January, tickets on sale from Friday 2 February.

    Perth Theatre continues its triumphant return to the Scottish theatre stage with David Harrower’s modern classic Knives in Hens. 

    Artistic director Lu Kemp directs the Perth Theatre production which runs in the transformed theatre’s restored auditorium from Thursday 1 until Saturday 17 February.

    Striking chords with audiences worldwide with its timeless and borderless themes of passion, betrayal and vengeance, Knives in Hens is now the most internationally performed modern Scottish play next to JM Barrie’s Peter Pan.

    Monday Night Thing is a showcase for local musical talent

    Local talent and well-known names from the world of indie, folk, blues, Scottish traditional, Americana and jazz music are set to brighten up Monday nights in Perth Theatre throughout February, March and April.

    The Monday Night Thing, formerly a regular feature in Perth Theatre Redrooms, starts on Monday 5 February in Perth Theatre’s Joan Knight Studio with up and coming local talent Beth Malcolm and one of Scotland’s finest songwriters Blue Rose Code, aka Ross Wilson.
