Could you be our next panto star? Perth Theatre is on the lookout for a community cast for this year's panto Aladdin.
If you love to perform, are aged 18+ with no recent performance training experience and can spare a few evenings/afternoons over the festive period, then we would love to hear from you.
We are holding auditions on Saturday 26 August from 10:00 until 16:00 in the Theatre with allocated timeslots throughout the day.
There's no need to prepare anything, we will have lots of fun on the day. The audition will consist of singing in a group and perhaps a line or two individually. There will also be a simple dance routine to learn.
The chosen community cast will join the professional Aladdin company as ensemble members and play a central role in bringing the magic of panto to Perth once again!
In terms of availability, we are going to try our very hardest to fit it around work/school /childcare schedules etc. You would need to be available during November and December. It’s likely you would be performing every second night or afternoon. There may be some daytime rehearsals with Barrie Hunter who is directing and some rehearsals in the evening.

Participation is restricted to non-professional performers and those who are not currently in performance training.
