We are delighted to be returning to regular theatre workshops once more.
In these weekly Perth Youth Theatre sessions, P4-7s will explore creating theatre for unusual spaces and places. Working with a Theatre Designer, they will use visual design to tell stories, explore themes, and create an interactive installation for members of the public to experience. Workshops will be fun, supportive and collaborative and will aim to instil confidence, develop skills and open up space for creative expression.
These workshops will build on some of the ideas and explorations of the young people involved in last term's No Planet B, an investigation of how small actions can contribute to the fight against climate change. Everyone is welcome!
Sessions will run from Tuesday 21 September - Tuesday 14 December 4pm - 5.30pm. With additional October holidays workshops on 12, 13, 14 October 9.30am-12.30pm, and no evening workshops week commencing 11 and 18 October.)
Full price: £50
Bursary price: £1*
*We want to make our workshops accessible to everyone, so we are offering a bursary price of £1 to anyone who may not be able to pay the full price. If you would like to pay something other than the full price or the bursary price, or would like to ‘pay it forward’ and support another young person to attend our workshops at the bursary rate, you can pay what you can by selecting your preferred option and adding a donation amount of your choice later in the payment process. We depend on donations - big and small - to continue to offer a wide variety of creative projects for our communities.
Once payment has been taken an enrolment form must be completed. The participant(s) will not be allowed to take part in the project until the enrolment form has been completed. Complete enrolment form here
