NYOS Development Orchestra is made up of aspiring and talented young musicians from across Scotland aged between 11 and 18. NYOS Development provides fantastic orchestral experiences delivered with a creative programme and two concerts each year.

Natalia Luis-Bassa returns to conduct NYOS Development this spring having nurtured the orchestra from its inception. They are joined by the brilliant young trumpet player Aaron Azunda Akugbo, fresh from his debut at the BBC Proms in 2023, to perform Tomasi’s Trumpet Concerto.

The spring concert opens in dramatic fashion with Verdi’s turbulent and impassioned overture to La forza del destino and closes with the energetic Danzón No 2 by Márquez.

£15.00 (inc £2.50 booking fee per ticket); Students/Unwaged £5, Under 18s Free
