Horsecross Arts, the creative organisation and charity behind Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre has agreed a year-long sponsorship deal with local gin company, Bright Spirits.
In the first bar sponsorship in the newly restored and redeveloped theatre, Perth Theatre’s bar spaces have been rebranded using the vibrant and colourful Bright Spirits designs, showcasing their three award-winning gins with 100% natural flavour – Pips, Roots and Peels.
Bright Spirits will also support Perth Theatre’s upcoming production of The Importance of Being Earnest with match-funding from Culture & Business Fund Scotland. Their Pips, Roots and Peels gins will take centre stage in a series of special events during the run.
Rachael Prothero, development manager for Horsecross Arts said:
“This exciting partnership perfectly showcases the transformational effect business sponsorship can have on our artistic programme as well as on our fantastic spaces. Bright Spirits’ support is not only helping us produce top quality theatre for the local community and visitors to the city but is also enlivening Perth Theatre’s bars. As a registered Scottish charity, we rely on support from local companies. I would encourage any business that wants to make a difference to the cultural scene in Perth, and raise their profile in the process, to follow in Bright Spirits footsteps and get in touch about collaborating. We’re very grateful to have such fantastic partners in Bright Spirits and look forward to working with them over the next year.”
Natalie Bald, catering team manager for Horsecross Arts said:
“Perth Theatre’s bars are where audiences and visitors can meet and mix with visiting actors and musicians, and what better way to make friends than over a cheeky gin! With three great flavours to pick from, there will be a Bright Spirits favourite for everyone.
We’re excited that a local business has chosen our bars to showcase their products, and we can’t wait to share them with our customers.”
Iain McClune, from Bright Spirits said:
“This sponsorship with Horsecross Arts is a really exciting step for us at Bright Spirits and we’re looking forward to supporting The Importance of Being Earnest production in the New Year. We can’t wait to welcome the community to the bright and bold bar spaces and hope that everyone will have a great time at events whilst being introduced to the bright side of spirits through our range of three award-winning gins!”
