The Trainee Administrator will work alongside and learn from the Learning and Engagement team as we develop and deliver activities that are responsive and collaborative with our local communities. This is a training role and a unique opportunity for an individual interested in developing skills in arts administration to gain hands on experience of working on community focused projects. You will learn a wide range of skills crucial in the day-to-day activity of the Learning and Engagement department, including maintaining databases, scheduling, budgeting and book-keeping, contracting, marketing the department’s work, proofing funding applications, liaising with other departments and external organisations, and communicating with people who participate in our projects.

We are looking for a confident team player who can assist and support the Operations Department to keep potential dangers at bay, help set up some of our many events, and make sure we stick to the rules for Health and Safety.

You will be joining our Visitor Experience team to deliver the highest standards of customer service within the catering operations, bars, conferences and events.

You are at the front line of the customer experience, and you are required to ensure that the needs of customers and clients are fully met.
