Ella Fitzgerald is widely regarded as the greatest jazz singer ever and to celebrate her centenary in 2017 the UK’s leading jazz vocalist Tina May and her world-class accompanist, pianist Brian Kellock revisited the classic 1975 meeting of Ella and piano giant Oscar Peterson.

Such was the success of their initial Ella & Oscar tour, they have continued to work together, earning rapturous audience reactions for the sheer quality, powerful chemistry and easy approachability of their performances.

May has sung with a kaleidoscope of talents, including the great American jazz players Nat Adderley, Joe Henderson, Ray Bryant and Kenny Clark and her superb interpretations of songs sung by Edith Piaf have won approval in Paris and across Europe. Kellock is the creative master sought out by Stanley Turrentine, Scott Hamilton, Sheila Jordan, Joe Temperley and Carol Kidd as an accompanist.

With Tina May and Brian Kellock, consummate singing, supreme musicianship and two natural onstage personalities combine in an evening of musical magic.
