1pm: Southern Fried Rock Shop
More talented young people showcase what they’ve learnt over an intense week-long workshop led by top-class musicians and songwriters. Always a Southern Fried highlight.
Dundee’s Boogalusa play their own original music, an uptempo, get-up-and-dance take on rootsy swampland swing inspired by Louisiana Cajun and zydeco and season
it with reggae, African, Irish and even Ska rhythms.
3pm: James Edwyn & The Borrowed Band
This Glasgow sextet were formed in 2013, influenced by folk singer-songwriters like Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan as well as alternative country artists such as Gillian
Welch and David Rawlings, The Felice Brothers and Ryan Adams.
4pm: Bohemian Monk Machine
Local heroes Bohemian Monk Machine are a fiercely talented five piece band drawing inspiration from funk, soul, psychedelia, fusion and other genres.
5pm: Anton & The Colts
This great Glasgow band combines the pristine vocal harmonies of country and bluegrass, raucous bluesy guitars and the tight swinging rhythms of classic soul and
funk topped with singer Anton’s sweet smoky growl.
6pm: The Daddy Naggins
The Daddy Naggins unite five powerful voices to bring you rip-roaring instrumentals, traditional bluegrass classics, folk songs and well-known modern covers - all with those old-time high and lonesome mountain harmonies.
