Join sports journalist Gordon Bannerman with Perth Theatre for this exclusive Team Talk night. Covering stories like Saints winning the Scottish Cup and the days of Muirton Park, Gordon has clocked-up 40 years reporting for the Perthshire Advertiser and various national newspapers.

Team Talk is an online event for St Johnstone fans to come along and share stories and experiences. This night will be hosted by Gordon Bannerman who will be exploring Pressing Engagements where he will recall stories from Muirton and McDiarmid, the Euro trips and flag-up his own Saints X1. Each audience member will receive a pie and a Bovril to get them into the spirit of the game. This event will end with a Q&A session with Gordon and the chance to share your own stories. As part of these series of talks, playwright Martin McCormick, will use these stories to help inform the play.

Team Talk is part of a wider project with Perth Theatre who will be working with people from across Perthshire to create a high-quality, mainstage production about St Johnstone Football Club and its fans. The production will be a real collaboration between professional artists and the local community.

The talk will take place online via zoom. Please note the talk will be recorded for research and development purposes.
