One of the greatest Russian regional orchestras, which has toured extensively throughout Europe and the rest of the world, comes to Perth to perform two works by Tchaikovsky; his richly colourful and joyful Romeo & Juliet Overture and his final composition; the Pathetique, his greatest symphony and possibly his greatest work.

We look forward to welcoming the exciting young pianist, Sergey Redkin, winner of the prestigious Tchaikovsky piano competition, for a scintillating performance of Rachmaninov's ever popular Rhapsody on a theme of Paganini with its haunting melody and variations.
