A new project for all S1-6s to rehearse and perform a scripted play for Perth Theatre's Mainstage. Are you interested in performing? Do you want to explore theatre design, directing or working backstage? We want you to be part of this project!
Between October 2021 and March 2022 you will work as an ensemble with Director Joanna Bowman and Assistant Director Fin Ross Russell. You will rehearse the play, exploring text analysis, developing skills, contributing to the set and costume design, building a strong team dynamic and having a lot of fun. The play will then be performed for the public on the Perth Theatre Mainstage.
The play explores the chaos of life and the cosmos, and the role we all play within that chaos. Bring your creativity, commitment and bags of enthusiasm!
The project runs from 23 October 2021 - 4 March 2022.
Rehearsals: Saturday 23 October - Saturday 18 December 2021, 10am - 4pm; and then Saturday AND Sunday from 8 January - 27 February 2022, 10am - 4pm. There will be weekday evening rehearsal the week beginning Monday 28 February, times TBC.
Performances: Thursday 3 March and Friday 4 March 2022, evenings.

Full price: £138 for the full project, £69 due now and £69 due by 8 January 2022.

*We want to make our workshops accessible to everyone, so we are offering a bursary price of £1 to anyone who may not be able to pay the full price. If you would like to pay something other than the full price or the bursary price, or would like to ‘pay it forward’ and support another young person to attend our workshops at the bursary rate, you can pay what you can by selecting your preferred option and adding a donation amount of your choice later in the payment process. We depend on donations - big and small - to continue to offer a wide variety of creative projects for our communities.
Enrolment Form
Once payment has been taken an enrolment form must be completed. An enrolment form will be emailed to you before the start of the project. The participant(s) will not be allowed to take part in the project until the enrolment form has been completed.
