Perth Choral Society are performing the Christmas perennial favourite Handel’s Messiah. This masterpiece of sacred choral music describes the prophecy of God’s plan to redeem mankind by the coming of the Messiah, the redemption by the sacrifice of Jesus and concludes with a Hymn of Thanksgiving for the overthrow of Death.
Four young soloists join the choir with the City of Perth Sinfonia.
