Perth Festival of the Arts presents

This is the latest in our series of concerts where we feature musicians, who from the area, and have decided to make their careers in music.

Since becoming a finalist in the BBC Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year competition in 2013, Hannah's own music has taken a step away from traditional and towards contemporary, to include a wide range of genres.

The past six years have seen her grow to be one of Scotland's most in demand session musicians as both fiddle player and vocalist, recording and touring across Europe, America and Japan with over ten different bands and as permanent fixture with Scottish indie acts Idlewild, Roddy Woomble and King Creosote. She has recently been writing music for TV & film and performing as part of some large scale productions including King Creosote's BAFTA nominated music to film From Scotland With Love.

In 2014 she recorded her debut EP Watching Time on the Isle of Mull, where she now lives, and is now working on an album with her longstanding friend and guitarist Sorren Maclean, of whom she'll be joined by on the day.
