This October Perth Theatre is inviting people across Perth and Kinross to get involved in Fun Palaces, a weekend of cultural and creative activities run for and by the local community.

We’re running an online ‘stage’ that anyone in the local community can run an activity on. There may be amateur gardeners willing to share their top tips; keen cooks interested in demonstrating their latest lockdown recipe; someone might be itching to teach you some words in a different language or tell you about a lesser known part of Scottish history. A whole range of interests, no matter how big or small, will be shared by enthusiastic and knowledgeable members of our community and you can watch it all from the comfort of your living room on Saturday 3 October. The line-up will include Pete Wishart, Perth Theatre panto dame Barrie Hunter, local actor Andy Gray and poet Jim Mackintosh.

Our Zoom Palace will run throughout the day on Saturday 3 October, and you will be able to come and go as you please. Tickets are free and the full timetable can now be viewed at the bottom of this page.

And if you’re interested in running an activity as part of our Zoom Palace, there’s still time to get involved. Sign up here by Thursday 24 September so we can share the details online ahead of the big weekend.

FREE but ticketed (please book in advance so we can send you the Zoom link. The link will be sent at 10.30am on Saturday 3 October)
