A staged reading of work by the Perthshire Plays Playwriting Group presented by Mike Robinson CEO of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. In the 19th century, Perthshire-born James Croll revolutionised our understanding of the earth's climate. Today, in a time of climate crisis, his work is more relevant than ever. Inspired by Croll's work and life, join playwrights from the Perthshire Plays Playwriting Group as they share pieces written especially for this event. Performed by the cast of The Importance of Being Earnest.

Climate and Time is part of Perthshire Plays - a new joint programme between Horsecross Arts, Pitlochry Festival Theatre, Birnam Arts and Playwrights' Studio, Scotland which aims to provide platforms for new and existing playwrights, giving them opportunities to develop their craft and share their work with audiences across the region.
