Ben Tagoe is a playwright and screenwriter originally from Perth but now based in West Yorkshire.
Ben's writing passion has allowed him to explore a wide range of avenues, from penning movies -- including short film Black Magicfeatured as part of the BBC and Arts Council England's pioneering project The Space -- to writing for the stage, with plays including When We Were Brothers, longlisted for the 2018 Alfred Bradley Award, Bittersweet Sunshine for Red Ladder, Cold Turkey at Nana's for Òran Mór and Perth Theatre, and The Thing about Psychopaths, which toured the UK. In 2015, his play Triple Word Score was broadcast on BBC Radio 4.
His work has been featured on TV dramas such as Jamie Johnson, Lucky Man, Coronation Street, Eastenders, Doctors and Casualty, broadcast on BBC Radio 4, as well as stages across the UK.
