12 Dec 2018 -18 May 2019

Admission Free | Mon – Sat 10am – 6pm or late on performance nights

An intergenerational project that introduces primary school pupils to local senior citizens and encourages them to bond over the sharing of post-war dance halls memories and through participating in dance, drama, music and art workshops.

Enjoy listening to any of the 13 interviews with the senior partners and the 3 radio plays by the young people on the audio players.

See the dance hall architectural drawings and the jigsaw memories created by the young people in response to the oral histories.

Marvel at this community partnership initiative empowering both generations and building confidence and curiosity in our young people.

Look out for the bright yellow box at the front of house and share your memories!
