Culture Perth and Kinross presents

Peter May is one of Britain’s outstanding crime writers and recipient of many awards for both his novels and his journalism. Now living in France, Peter will be visiting Scotland on a whistle-stop tour and this is a rare opportunity to hear him speak about his writing in the Joan Knight Studio, Perth Theatre.

Bestselling author Peter will be discussing his latest thriller ‘A Silent Death’. Set in Southern Spain ‘A Silent Death’ unites a strong, independent Spaniard with a socially inept Scotsman; a senseless vendetta with a sense-deprived victim, and a red-hot Costa Del Sol with an ice-cold killer.

Spain, 2020. When ex-pat fugitive and drug dealer, Jack Cleland watches his girlfriend die, gunned down in a pursuit involving Cristina Sanchez Pradell, he promises to exact his revenge by destroying the policewoman.

Peter will be in conversation with BBC Broadcaster Fiona Stalker to discuss his books and his work as a journalist and author. This event is a must for all fans of crime writing.

Book retailer, Waterstones, will be selling Peter May titles on the evening with an opportunity to have books signed.
