  • Two children taking part in a Little Stars: Creative Play workshop

    Little Stars: Creative Play

    Little Stars: Creative Play is our new 30-week creative learning programme for under 5s. Led by Horsecross’s professional tutors, who specialise in working with young children, our workshops combine drama, singing and dance activities. The sessions build the children's colourful imaginations as well as focusing on: confidence, concentration, coordination and communication.

    Perth Theatre - Research, Record and Reveal

    Running in tandem with the refurbishment and redevelopment of Perth Theatre, the Perth Theatre – Research, Record and Reveal project encourages the community to engage with the history and heritage of Perth Theatre. Through a range of initiatives, with volunteers, community groups and schools, we will research in the theatre archives, record oral histories from community members and reveal our findings in a variety of ways including an exhibition at Perth Museum and Gallery.

  • Scottish Traditional and Gaelic music Talent Hub

    Horsecross is a national talent hub for Scottish Traditional and Gaelic music (instrumental and vocal) with a focus on supporting and developing early to mid-career professional musicians and emerging young musicians. The hub develops skills and talent in fiddle, pipes, flute, percussion, brass, vocals, guitar and piano/accordion through a range of events and activities including master-classes, internships, mentoring and informal scratch sessions.
