Mozart Piano Concerto No 12 in A major, K414
Tippett Concerto for Double String Orchestra

Jonathan Morton, director

The 2017 winner of the Jock Holden Memorial Mozart Piano Prize will perform one of Mozart’s earliest great concertos at the core of a programme which opens with the soloists of the Scottish Ensemble performing a masterpiece by Dvorák. Written at the same time as A Child of our Time, Tippett’s Concerto for Double String Orchestra is one of his finest orchestral works.
