    On Monday 13 and Tuesday 14 October, Horsecross Arts welcomes Luminate: Scotland’s creative ageing festival.

    Throughout the day on Monday, adults over sixty will be taking part in a range of workshops including theatre, music, dance and visual art in Perth Concert Hall and in the community.

    Inspired by the work of Henri Matisse, artist Martine Foltier Pugh is hosting a collage workshop with residents of Strathtay House.

  • Scotland's oldest hotel provides inspiration for new Perth drama

    One of Scotland’s oldest hotels, The Salutation Hotel in Perth has provided the inspiration for new drama The Fundraiser by Lesley Hart. Part of Perth Theatre’s Out and About programme while the 114-year old theatre is restored and redeveloped, this highly interactive black comedy with a sting in the tale will run in The Salutation Hotel from Wednesday 5 until Saturday 8 November.

    Once again the team behind Perth’s panto is searching the land for talented local youngsters to take to the stage in the festive family favourite

    The creators of Sleeping Beauty which runs in Perth Concert Hall from Thursday 11 to Saturday 26 December are inviting applications to audition for the children’s cast.

    Boys and girls aged 9 to 13 who love to sing, dance, act and perform can download an application pack below or pick one up from Horsecross Arts Box Office in Perth Concert Hall.  The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 10 October.
