Sponsors Struans Motors Ltd have gone the extra mile to support Perth Theatre’s homecoming panto Aladdin, by creating a specially branded car.

The Peugeot 3008 SUV was given a spit and polish by Wishy Washy – actor Tyler Collins – when it passed by the newly reopened Perth Theatre’s courtyard area.

Craig MacKenzie, general sales manager for Struans said:

“Struan Motors Ltd are delighted and proud to be supporting Perth panto Aladdin as it returns to its home Perth Theatre for the first time in three years. As a local family company, we are always keen to support and be involved with organisations that will benefit the local community. What an exciting time to be involved when the theatre has just undergone a fantastic refurbishment, creating many opportunities and encouraging more people to visit Perth.”

Louisa Evans, head of development for Horsecross Arts, the creative organisation behind Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall said:

“We’re delighted to have Struans on board as sponsors of Perth Theatre’s homecoming panto. Struans’ generous support at such a pivotal moment in the theatre’s history is really something special. This year’s panto, Aladdin, will be Perth Theatre’s first production since its reopening and the perfect show to welcome everyone back after its incredible transformation. Our focus now is to raise funds to support all our creative activity both on and off stage. Businesses like Struans really can make all the difference, and we are extremely grateful for their investment.”

Perth Theatre’s artistic director Lu Kemp directs the first show in the newly transformed theatre, which features Perth’s favourite panto dame, Barrie Hunter and a cast of familiar and new faces.

Tickets to Aladdin are flying off the shelves, so audiences are being urged to get into gear if they want to take up pole positions in the available performances.

Mwahahahahahaaaa! Body-popping, break-dancing baddy Abanazer is going to win the panto! Can our heroes Aladdin and Jasmine stop him? Can our own Dame Barrie Hunter? Not without your help… Join us, and save the world with a foot-stamping, toe-tapping, fabulous Perth family panto! We’re back on Perth Theatre’s glorious restored main-stage for our first home-produced show of the season!
