With a stellar line up of music, theatre, dance, comedy, events, art and activities, the force is strong for the new season in Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre!

The Royal Scottish National Orchestra plays some of the most unforgettable music ever written for cinema in The Music of Star Wars in Perth Concert Hall. Rising and shining stars of the classical music scene take centre stage in the popular Sunday afternoon Perth Piano Sundays series and regular Lunchtime Concerts and Perth Concert Series. There is a first visit to Perth Concert Hall from London Mozart Players, one of the UK’s most famed chamber orchestras and Opera North bring a concert performance of Richard Strauss’s exhilarating opera Salome to Perth.

A galaxy of exciting tribute acts land in Perth Concert Hall including Fastlove: A Tribute to George Michael, Bowie Experience and Stevie Wonder tribute, Signed, Sealed, Delivered. Iconic Scottish band Belle & Sebastian returns to Perth Concert Hall for the first time since they performed at the hall’s opening weekend in 2005. The popular Celtic Sessions series of music inspired by celtic traditions features concerts by Eddi Reader, Hamish Napier, Duncan Chisholm and more.

Perth Theatre continues its relaunch season with modern classic Knives in Hens and a first Perth Theatre performance for Shakespeare’s Richard III for nearly 100 years, both directed by artistic director, Lu Kemp. Karine Polwart brings her critically acclaimed combination of story and song, Wind Resistance, to the theatre, and the new Joan Knight Studio is home to a series of theatre for kids and families, smaller scale performances and the return of weekly live music slot The Monday Night Thing. Step behind the scenes and discover the history of Perth Theatre – and its ghosts! – with tours for up to 20 people.

A sparkling dance programme includes All Night Long with Strictly’s Brendan Cole and Remembering Fred with Aljaz and Janette. Shaped by conversations with teenagers, parents and grandparents, Teenage Trilogy by Curious Seed and Tramway is captivating dance theatre for teenagers and anyone who has ever been one! Dance fans can get in on the action with Strictly Hx Dance, a new adult dance class from Beyonce to ballet!

Local comedian Bruce Fummey visits Perth Theatre’s Joan Knight Studio with How Can I Drive to a Gig with a Jakey on my Bonnet? and TV comedy stars Stewart Lee and Russell Brand bring brand new shows to Perth Concert Hall.

Art fans can join creative director for contemporary art for Coffee, Croissant and Art or Wine, Olives and Art - a guided tour round our current exhibitions in Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre’s Threshold artspace. Perth Film Society presents a series of films from home and abroad in Perth Concert Hall’s Norie-Miller Studio.
