Yeeehawww! Saddle up partners as FUNBOX head out on the prairie for their brand new spectacular for 2019.
So grab your ten gallon hats, get your boots on and get rollin’, rollin’, rollin’ for a rootin’ tootin’ hoedown with Anya, Kevin, Gary and Bonzo right here in Perth.
In the four years since their first show the Funbox gang have been pirates, princesses, superheroes, a variety of underwater sea creatures and dino-hunters to name a few guises. This year they’ve swapped the dinosaur scales for stetsons and they’re stepping out in their spurs in THE WILD WEST SHOW.
“We are really looking forward to getting The Wild West Show on the road,” said Anya. “We’ve watched our Wild West town being built and we can’t wait to show you around!” It seems like Fun is the operative word in Funbox as the gang can barely hide the excitement and love they have of performing. “We get to act like kids all day, who wouldn’t love to make a living out of that?” said Kevin. “During the week theres lots of what we call the ‘boring grown up stuff’ for the day to day running of the business, but as soon as the weekend hits and we’re performing its like having a second childhood all over again!”
FUNBOX is the brain child of Gary Coupland, Anya Scott-Rodgers and Kevin Macleod who since starting out in March 2015 have gone from strength to strength, quickly becoming firm family favourites and Scotland’s premier children’s entertainment company. Funbox offers the same traditional songs and silliness known and loved by many but with their own brand of manic humour
and a modern twist. “We’ve been described as fresh and edgier than before and the whole family is getting involved. Even the grown ups are getting involved - so we’re hoping the big people can manage to get their cowboy hats on!” laughs Gary, who was the Singing Kettle’s music man for 32 years before Funbox was born.

Some low life varmint has stolen their keys to the Funbox and is terrorising the citizens of East Clintwood so its up to the gang to save the day! But who’s the quickest draw in town? Who will wear the Sheriff’s silver star? And will they find their missing keys by High Noon? Jam packed with singalong classics like ‘Skip To Ma Lou’, ‘Oh!
