Following its double success at the Critics’ Awards for Theatre in Scotland (CATS) where it picked up Best Director and Best Ensemble Awards, Perth Theatre’s The Seafarer is now in the frame for a national award.

Rachel O’Riordan has been nominated in the Best Director category for the joint Lyric Theatre, Belfast production in the Theatrical Management Association (TMA) 2013 UK Theatre Awards.

The UK Theatre Awards are the only nationwide awards to honour creative excellence and the outstanding achievement seen on and off stage throughout England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. 

Perth’s Sally Reid who plays Elvira in Perth Theatre's upcoming production of Blithe Spirit is nominated in the Best Supporting Performance category for her performance in Royal Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh and Dundee Rep Ensemble’s production of Time and the Conways.
