The return of Perth Theatre panto has been welcomed and enjoyed by so many this festive season. Audiences and critics alike have been raving about Cinderella and sales were breaking all previous Box Office records.

Following the announcement by the First Minister on Tuesday 21 December about restrictions on indoor live events applicable for 3 weeks from Sunday 26 December, the health and safety of audiences, artists and staff remains paramount. We have therefore had to take the very difficult but necessary decision to cancel all performances of Cinderella from Sunday 26 – Friday 31 December, as well as Fun Box’s Santa’s Pyjama Party in Perth Concert Hall on Thursday 30 December and New Year in Vienna with the SCO on Monday 3 January. We will be contacting all ticket-holders by email to advise them of their options.

Our team have worked incredibly hard to ensure the success of our season to date and we are exceptionally grateful for their efforts. We remain hopeful and are preparing to return in the New Year with a packed programme that stretches from January to June, with many shows already on sale. Once restrictions are lifted, we look forward to welcoming audiences back safely, and we’d like to thank our loyal customers once again for their staunch support during these challenging times for everyone in our industry.

Please continue to stay safe, stay healthy, and stay kind this festive season.
