Following the roaring success of Beauty and the Beast, Perth Concert Hall is lining up the purrfect team for this year’s family panto; Dick McWhittington.

Writer Alan McHugh and director Ian Grieve are on board once again as tickets go on sale for Dick McWhittington in Perth Concert Hall from Saturday 10 until Monday 26 December.

King Rat and his rodent army are swarming all over Perth! Dick McWhittington is on his way to London to seek fame and fortune and doesn’t know that it is his destiny to save the city and become Provost. It’s up to Perth’s very own fairy godmother, the Imp of The Inches, to bring him back. But Dick won’t be alone. He’ll stand side by side against King Rat with his very own ratcatcher – Kitty Cat – for a final showdown in the desert Kingdom of the great Sultan Vinegar.

Meanwhile, Marmaduke Marshmallow’s sweetie shop has been cleaned out by the rats, but he has a bigger problem in trying to avoid the affections of his shopkeeper, Senga McScruff. And how will our loveable numptie, Wee Sandy McScruff, cope when the love of his life, Melody Marshmallow, falls for Dick?

The people of Perth are expected to come out in their numbers to boo, hiss and cheer their way through this annual Fair City festive tradition.

Dick McWhittington goes on sale on Tuesday 8 March at 10am. For tickets and info contact Perth Concert Hall Box Office on 01738 621031.
