Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre joined UK Music and members of the UK Live Music Group, and a coalition of live music businesses including artists, venues, concerts, festivals, production companies and industry figures on Thursday 2 July to launch #LetTheMusicPlay highlighting the importance of the sector to the UK economy. The campaign attracted support from a series of high profile artists including Sir Paul McCartney, KT Tunstall, Coldplay and more.
To remind everyone of what they're all missing, Horsecross Arts, the creative organisation and charity behind Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre shared a track by local supergroup Red Pine Timber Co filmed at their triumphant Perth Concert Hall gig in February 2015.
