No sooner has the cast of Sinbad sailed out of the Fair City than Perth Theatre is inviting everyone to the ball for 2020 panto Cinderella!
And Sinbad customers who are quick off the mark can save 10% by booking their Cinderella tickets before the end of January*.
A festive feast of songs, jokes and laughter, the nation’s favourite panto Cinderella romps into Perth Theatre from Thursday 26 November 2020 until Saturday 2 January 2021.
Sinbad further secured Perth Theatre’s reputation as one of Scotland’s top panto destinations with total tickets sold topping 16,500 including 20% new customers, and audience comments including: “absolutely amazing - one of the best I’ve seen ever in Perth!!”, “excellent fun for kids of all ages”, “great fun for all the family”.
The panto success was part of a bumper Christmas season in Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre which saw over 30,000 people of all ages attend a diverse mix of shows including Abbamania, Sheku Kanneh-Mason, RSNO’s The Snowman, Skipinnish, Poggle, Funbox and more.
Nick Williams, chief executive of Horsecross Arts, the creative organisation behind Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre said:
“Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre are a huge part of Christmas in Perth! Our panto is a favourite festive tradition for families and local groups and schools, and Poggle went down a treat with younger audiences. Perth Concert Hall hosts everything from school concerts to carolling, festive pop and Christmas classics. Both venues sparkle from top to toe and our cafes are packed with hungry shoppers and audiences alike. We look forward to welcoming many of the Sinbad team back on board for Cinderella, and, as the nation’s favourite panto we are sure it will be at the heart of another seasonal success story for our venues.”
Cinderella runs in Perth Theatre from Thursday 26 November 2020 until Saturday 2 January 2021. Following customer feedback and the positive response to Perth Theatre’s new sensory backpacks to help with access needs, there will now be an additional early relaxed performance on Sunday 13 December.
