Perth couple Lesley Mackie and Terry Wale will tell audiences about how they found love in Perth Theatre in an evening of conversation on Tuesday 14 February.

The free Perth Theatre Discoveries event in Perth Concert Hall’s Norie-Miller Studio on Valentine’s night will focus on how the pair met at Perth Theatre and their ongoing love both for each other and for the historic venue that has continued to play a key role in their lives, as they approach their Ruby Wedding anniversary.

Lesley Mackie said:

“We're both looking forward to sharing some of our stories, memories and reminiscences with the audience on Valentines' Day; a story that goes back to the summer of 1974 when not only did we meet and start our journey together, but I began my own personal love affair with Perth Theatre.”
