Dear friend,

I’d love to be able to give you a clearer picture about our route to reopening Perth Concert Hall and Perth Theatre, but there is no definitive timeline nor any guidelines for theatre and music performances as yet. You’ll be the first to know when this situation changes, and you can rest assured that we’ll do all we can to protect our customers and staff when we do open our doors.

As from early next week, most of the team will be on furlough for a few weeks. This is to help us get through this period of extreme crisis for our organisation, so that we can be in the best possible shape to reopen when we get the go ahead.

During this time, there will be limited monitoring of e-mails. We’ll do our best to respond to any urgent queries, but please bear with us if it takes a little longer than usual.

We’ll be carrying on with our daily #keepgoingtogether blog, where, incredibly, we’re now on Day 78! If you haven’t discovered this already, have a look at www.keepgoingtogether.co.uk where we’re posting bite-sized moments of culture and community to brighten your day.
Virtual Voices
Popular singing group Horsecross Voices is back in an online incarnation! If you’ve been missing your community singing, book the next session here.

Coronavirus Time Capsule*
Our Join In members have been impressing us with their imaginative #coronavirustimecapsule videos. In their latest release – they show us who they live with. Visit our YouTube site to see what they've been up to.
Scenes For Survival
We’ve joined up with theatres across Scotland to take part in National Theatre of Scotland's Scenes for Survival, a series of 40+ short FREE digital artworks, created by a host of leading Scottish performers, writers and directors working remotely from their personal spaces of isolation.

Autumn Shows
We’re being contacted by some promoters with further amendments to their autumn tour schedules. If you’re a ticket-holder for a show later this year, keep an eye on your e-mails as we may be in touch with some new date info. We’ll be sharing updated event details on Facebook and our website, so, if by any chance you couldn’t make it this autumn, you’ve got the chance to book again for next year.

Audience Survey
We have been contacting a cross-section of customers with an audience survey. We’re encouraged by the fact that the majority of those who responded can’t wait to come back to our venues when it’s safe to do so. We’re planning to send out a follow-up shortly so keep an eye out for this and please do fill it in if you get it, your answers will help us greatly in our reopening plans.
Thank you for your continued understanding. If you'd like to support projects like the ones above to help us all keep going together, please make a donation today.
Stay safe. Stay healthy. Stay kind.

Chief Executive, Horsecross Arts
