We are working with ESOL Perth to offer voice workshops at Perth Theatre to anyone with English as a second or other language.

Workshops will be led by Associate Artist Heather Knudtsen, and combine English language teaching with vocal exercises used by actors to increase vocabulary, develop pronunciation skills, and to support speakers to feel comfortable and confident talking in English.

All workshops will be supportive and inclusive and will create opportunities for participants to explore their own creativity and voice, grow in confidence, develop communication skills, feel part of their community, and have fun.

Workshops will take place at Perth Theatre Tuesday 16 August – Tuesday 6 December 2022 at 10.30am. Workshops are free of charge, with drinks and snacks also provided.

For more information about workshops, or to sign up to the project, please contact Katie Mitchell at engagement@horsecross.co.uk or on 01738 477729.
