Horsecross runs an exciting programme of music, theatre, contemporary art, and family events across its two venues, Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall. The venues also host the annual Perth Festival of the Arts in May.
Perth Theatre offers a year round programme of classic and popular drama, new writing, unique Perth productions and touring shows, with a spattering of music, comedy, dance and contemporary art thrown in for good measure. Our Studio Theatre and Redrooms cafe bar + restaurant at the theatre host occasional small scale performances like the fabulous series of intimate jazz, folk, singer-songwriter sessions, The Monday Night Thing.
Perth Concert Hall is home to an exciting programme of music, contemporary art, community events and conferences with a dash of dance, comedy and a couple of musicals each year. Our unique Threshold artspace (now extended to Perth Theatre, too) has an ever changing programme and collection of contemporary art. The Norie-Miller Studio holds workshops, film nights, and talks.
