We are thrilled to welcome Scottish Opera with a concert performance of one of Rossini's earliest and most sparkling operas.

Without her master knowing, Giulia has married, and every night her husband climbs up a silken ladder to her window. All is blissful, until she is introduced to her new fiancé… things are about to get tricky! We are thrilled to welcome Scottish Opera with a concert performance of one of Rossini's earliest and most sparkling operas. Written when he was just 18 years old, and regarded by many as his first masterpiece, the one-act opera is full of fun, with charming comedy and young love at its heart.
