Terms and Conditions
By purchasing a ticket by telephone, in person over the counter, via the website or via an agency, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of sale.
Ticket prices and fees
We sell tickets on behalf of our clients including concert/show/event organisers, artists and venues. Our clients decide the face value price of the tickets and when a ticket is sold we pay our clients the money collected from the sale of that ticket.
Booking Fee: This fee contributes to our ticket retail, distribution and technology costs to ensure that you will enjoy the best possible customer experience. Alongside other revenues, it helps us to stay an effective business, which in turn, allows us to reinvest in Horsecross Arts. As a recognised Scottish charity we cannot profit from booking fees.
Booking fees are incurred for tickets priced over £7.50. They are waived for in-person cash payments only at Perth Concert Hall box office. A minimum charge of £1.50 will apply per ticket (subject to the first 5 tickets purchased). If you are purchasing more than 5 tickets online please contact the Box Office on 01738 621031 to avoid paying the booking fee on the 6th and any subsequent tickets for the same event.
Delivery Fee: This fee covers the printing of the tickets and delivery cost, which is currently 65p.
Sale of Tickets
Tickets may be purchased online, by telephone or in person at Perth Concert Hall. Please check the name of the show, venue, date, time and price prior to purchase. You must inform Horsecross Arts of any change of address, contact phone number or email address both before and after receipt of tickets.
All tickets, price types and discounts are subject to availability, can be changed and/or withdrawn without prior notice and do not apply to tickets already purchased. Horsecross Arts reserves the right to introduce offers and price changes without prior notice. The price of the ticket shall be the price set at the time we accept your order.
Where a concession is claimed, proof of identity and concession entitlement may be required. Please make it known at point of sale your concession requirements. Concession types and availability may vary and cannot be added retrospectively. Reductions may be limited for certain events. Certain concessions may not be available online - please contact out Box Office.
If you or any member of your party has additional support needs please raise these when booking and we will endeavour to help you with your booking requirements. If you require a wheelchair space, please inform the Box Office at the point of booking.
Where you are making a booking on behalf of a number of people, you accept these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of your party.
Tickets you purchase are for personal use. Tickets must not be resold at a higher price than face value. Horsecross Arts has the right to cancel tickets that have been resold at a higher price without prior notification and the holder may be refused entry. This is an important reason why you should only buy tickets from a reputable source.
Only one discount can apply to any one ticket.
Horsecross Arts reserves the right to introduce discounts and special offers at any time - these cannot be applied to tickets already purchased.
Lost or forgotten reserved seated tickets can be reprinted at a cost of 50p per ticket with proof of ID. General admission or standing tickets cannot be reprinted.
If a performance is cancelled, you will be offered a rescheduled date where possible, or a refund of the ticket and booking fee.
Tickets for a specific date or period of performance cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable. Consumer cancellation rights apply to the purchase of Memberships and Gift Vouchers. You have the right to cancel these goods within 14 days without giving any reason. The right to cancellation will expire after 14 days from the day of purchase. If you wish to cancel, you must inform us by letter sent by post or by email and return Gift Vouchers to us at your own cost.
We will only refund tickets if the performance has been cancelled. If a booking fee has been charged, this will also be returned. We regret that tickets cannot be refunded due to adverse weather conditions if the performance goes ahead. No refund on pre-booked tickets will be made on the announcement of a subsequent special offer.
Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year from purchase. Consumer cancellation rights apply to the purchase of gift vouchers. You have the right to cancel these goods within 14 days without giving any reason. The right to cancellation will expire after 14 days from the day of purchase. If you wish to cancel, you must inform us by letter sent by post or by email and return gift vouchers to us at your own cost.
Your membership can save you 10% on selected tickets (contact Box Office to book, membership entitles you to one ticket at discounted price per membership) and on food at Glassrooms Café. Also includes advanced notice and priority booking where possible.
Membership is valid for 1 year from purchase. Consumer cancellation rights apply. You have the right to cancel these goods within 14 days without giving any reason. The right to cancellation will expire after 14 days from the day of purchase. If you wish to cancel, you must inform us by letter sent by post or by email and return Membership cards to us at your own cost.
For your protection and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, we take your address in order that we can contact you in the event of a cancellation; authorise a credit / debit card transaction; mail out your tickets, if requested; and keep you informed of future events. From time to time, we will send you information about similar concerts and activities using the information you have provided. Other carefully selected local arts organisations may also be interested in sending you information on events they think will be of interest. If you do not wish to receive this information, or us to contact you for any other reason, please let us know.
We will never pass on your information without your informed consent to anyone else except to agents who process our data or conduct campaigns on our behalf.
We may also use and disclose anonymous aggregate booking information (excluding credit card details) with external agencies (e.g. Creative Scotland) for the purpose of analysis and research. Horsecross Arts will take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of data within this process.
Terms of Admittance
For your information, protection and the comfort of all customers, Horsecross Arts reserves the right to refuse admission in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or aggressive behaviour.
Latecomers may be asked to wait for a suitable break in the performance before taking their seats.
In exceptional circumstances we may provide alternative seats to those specified on the ticket.
No audio or visual recording equipment is allowed. Any person found with these may be asked to leave the venue and the recorded material may be destroyed.
By purchasing a ticket you consent to the filming and sound recording of your participation in any Performance as a member of the audience. If you do not wish to be recorded as part of the audience please inform a member of staff.
Horsecross Arts may make alterations to the published programme and/or cast for reasons beyond its control.
Tickets are required for each child attending a performance for health and safety. Some performances and/or specific zones may have age restrictions. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to check any restrictions before they purchase tickets.
Tickets may be restricted to a maximum number per person for certain events.
Please switch off mobile phones and refrain from disturbing others during the performance to ensure that it is enjoyed by all.
Please be aware that other members of the audience may stand up during the performance during rock and pop events.
If you experience problems during a performance please contact a member of staff so that we can do our best to resolve the issue at the time.
Changes to the performance or programme
The management reserves the right to change the programme due to unforeseen circumstances. All ticket holders will be notified of any changes, if practicably possible.
The management reserves the right to change the start and finish times of any performance.
In the event of a cancellation, ticket holders will be notified in advance, where practicably possible.
Artists, programme and performance details are correct at the time of sale or print publication. However, on occasion changes may be unavoidable.
Horsecross Arts or its agents may carry out film or sound recording in or around our venues. By purchasing tickets you consent to you and your party being included in any recording, and to its exploitation, without payment.
Horsecross Arts occasionally acts as a box office for external events. These events are not promoted by Horsecross Arts and we take no responsibility for any aspect of their programme or operation. Any queries should be directed to the promoter concerned.
From time to time we have special offers available for certain productions. These are time-limited and specific terms on availability and other conditions will be advertised with each individual offer.
All special offers are subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
A special offer will not apply to tickets already booked.

From time to time we run competitions for certain productions. These are time limited and specific terms on prize availability and other conditions will be advertised with each competition.
