Rhythm of the Dance was originally produced for a 3 week tour of the United States in 1998, the rest as they say, is history. 12 years later with 43 countries visited and over 5 million tickets sold this much anticipated production now comes to the UK for its premiere tour.
The stunning spectacle hits the Perth Concert Hall stage on Friday 16 April.
Producer Kieran Cavanagh of The National Dance Company of Ireland is very excited about the prospect and feels that even though the UK has had many Touring Irish dance productions over the last few years, he hopes that Rhythm of the Dance which is regarded as the most traditionally rooted and authentic show of its kind in the world, will be a breath of fresh air to the market and will be warmly received by the public.
