Electronic graffiti workshops at Threshold artspace

The latest trend to arrive at Perth Concert Hall's Threshold artspace from across the pond comes in the form of electronic graffiti. Developed by resident artists from New York's Eyebeam — a leading organisation for digital culture, the 'LED throwies' are an inexpensive, DIY way to add a touch of sparkle and colour to any magnetic surface. Sparkle at Threshold artspace

Sparkle, a trail of new exhibitions will be switched on at the Threshold artspace on Saturday, 2 December. The exhibitions will continue to illuminate the gallery throughout the festive season up to 31st January 2007. Sparkle features 15 works by more than 15 Scottish and international artists — a glowing selection of brand new additions and old favourites from Scotland's only permanent collection of digital art at the Threshold artspace. Perth Concert Hall has won a prestigious national award in the 'Regeneration' category at the 2006 British Construction Industry Awards, which took place at London's Grosvenor House Hotel on Thursday 26 October. Positive Scottish Arts Council funding news for Horsecross

Horsecross, the organisation that runs Perth Theatre and Perth Concert Hall, has been adopted as a prestigious Foundation Funding client by the Scottish Arts Council following a major review of the arts in Scotland. These clients represent Scotland's flagship arts organisations with a distinctive and significantly unique role in the arts in Scotland. Phedre: A poetic tragedy of forbidden love

Phedre by Jean Baptiste Racine adapted by Ted Hughes will open at Perth Theatre on Thursday 16 March and run until Saturday 1 April. Perth Concert Hall closed on 3 and 4 March 2006

Perth Concert Hall will be closed to the public on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 March for the annual Scottish Conservative Party Conference. The Scottish Conservatives' security experts advised that the building should be closed during their two days in Perth this March.
